The original picture had a lot in the backgorund. By changing it you can put more of a focus on the people or you can just choose to have one person in the picture. This could be helpful on social media as a profile picture. I also sharpened the second and third pictures.
The first picture included background space that doesn't look so good. The second picture looks better because it is cropped and has been burned and dodged.
The top picture is farther away. You can see the animals better after cropping. The second picture has also been sharpened to improve the colors. This could be used on a wildlife site.
