1. Remember to breathe! Remaining calm and relaxed is a much better way to deal with situations rather than being tense or anxiety-ridden.
2. Be healthy! When you eat right, exercise right, and sleep right your daily life seems much less stressful and healthier!
3. Don't forget to reward yourself. Whether it's taking a relaxing shower or watching your favorite show on television, there are endless small ways to give back to yourself after a hectic day.
Managing stress can be difficult, but it's better to learn to control it and not let it control you!

This is a good list, especially in light of looming finals and summer break. Another thing my mom always says is, "Take one thing at a time." This helps me to take thins step-by-step and not get discouraged by the whole picture.

ReplyDeleteI will have to take a look at this list at the end of the year! I seem to have so many group projects this semester and they tend to be the most stressful for me because I always want to lead the group so that I can make sure nothing goes wrong.
